Our Team

Hartley House prides itself on offering excellent care for residents and a supportive environment for staff.  We are a happy home and encourage laughter and interaction between staff and residents. Our Manager, Laura Holder, was appointed in 2018 and has many years experince in the care industry. Laura has recently moved to Cranbrook.  

The Wellbeing/Floor Manager is Paula Stanford. She has recently taken on this role after successfully transforming the Wellbeing programme in the home.

The Office Manager is Caroline Wells.  She will often be your first contact with the home and can guide you through the adminstrative process.  

Besides our management team we have a total 45 care staff. More than 75% of our staff have NVQ2 or are enrolled in a NVQ2 program. All our staff are offered the opportunity for training and are required to develop their skills by taking an NVQ 2.

The kitchen is staffed by a full time Cook, Jo, who has over fifteen years experience at Hartley House, and two Assistant Cooks. Jo is always happy to prepare special meals on request and has is trained to meet the nutritional need of all the residents.

The housekeeping team consists of five full time employees run an efficient cleaning service 7 days a week.
